Beech Group are one of only a small number of demolition contractors who have been selected as approved vendors by Essar Oil to work on their Tier 1 COMAH site in the UK. Working in this environment demands companies prioritise safety and the environment as there number 1 objective which has to be both demonstrated by both 3rd party accreditation schemes such as membership of the NFDC, Achilles, and compliance with ISO 9001,14001, 18001 but also comply with our permit system, quarterly reviews and weekly audits.
Beech Group have consistently demonstrated a high level of safety focus, professionalism, competency in their approach, and a proactive attitude while undertaking projects at Essar Oil.
In recently years they have been successful with their bids for a number of projects of varying size and nature. In terms of large scale and technically demanding projects they have undertaken the demolition of the FCCU Regen Head completed in Jan 2015 and are currently nearing completion of the Resins Plant Demolition Project. Such projects demand high levels of both operative and management competency to ensure stringent permit to works systems are adhered to, methodologies are thorough and all safety aspects of the job considered and acted upon accordingly through comprehensive risk assessments.
Beech Group are a pleasure to work with and through their competency, commitment and ability to deliver successful projects will continue to be major part of demolition contracting work moving forward with Essar.

Essar Project Leader

It has been a long time since I have come across a more competent, professional and, most importantly, cooperative building or engineering contracting organisation. From providing a competitive tender through site operations your staff have made the whole process a pleasure for my team and Trust staff by providing minimal disturbance to hospital services and have always been willing to fully comply with any requests or instructions.
I look forward to the next phase of demolition.

Head of Interim Estates and Capital Planning

I am happy to confirm that John Beech Ltd of Dock Road Bromborough, have successfully worked for several years with Sefton Council on a variety of demolition and asbestos removal projects and continue to do so.

They have recently completed a very large scale housing demolition project, which they completed ahead of program, within budget and without a single resident complaint. Their engagement with the residents and local schools was effective in preventing minor issues escalating into major problems
They are a highly competent and conscientious contractor, with an effective project management and H&S record who works with the Council to great effect, consistently delivering projects on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Senior Construction Services and Compliances Officer

I can recommend you add Beech to your list of tenderers. They have done excellent work for us both at Stanlow and Shell Haven. They know all our safety practices and have a dedicated hard working team – who are all a pleasure to work with.
As ever the way to get the best out of them is to define the scope of work, ring-fence the site and let them run the procedures inside the fence –they are very strict with us too!
Also you should consider whether their addition to the services they provide could be useful to support ERM in the environmental assessment and clean up of the areas they work on.
– a good combination.

The works have been done within the given timeframe and I was very pleased with the way the dismantling (I don’t call it demolition) was done and how your workers dealt with safety!
